Catastrophe Adjuster  

Job Description

To provide adjusting expertise and quality assurance to Kernaghan Adjusters’ property, casualty, and specialty lines claims.  To provide customer service excellence by applying their highly efficient and sound adjusting practices.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Multi-line experience – property focus
• Licensed for all lines
• Minimum 5 years adjusting experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Strong organizational skills
• Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical abilities
• Preference given to individuals with local experience and/or working knowledge of the catastrophe site
• Valid adjuster's license
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to travel for extended periods on short notice  - subject to CAT and adjuster requirements
• Must possess the necessary tools, e.g. ladder, laptop, camera, cell phone, etc., required for the assignment available
• Ability to climb & be able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Knowledge of estimating software preferred
